Today there was a nice surprise in the mail when I got home!

My diploma finally arrived -- so now it's official! I'm now Emily Daugherity, M.Ed.

Birthday starting early!

My birthday officially kicked off on Wednesday of this week when I received this birthday card from the Alumni Office at UAFS! Thanks Katie, Elizabeth, and the rest of the Alumni office!


And today, my awesome co-workers surprised me with a "Parisian" themed celebration! It was last day there until I get back in August -- I'm okay with missing work, but I will miss them!

Hannah's going to the barn...and she's gonna get married!

This week I had the honor to be a part of Hannah and Will's barn wedding. It was such a pretty wedding and Hannah was so beautiful! I am so happy for my long-time friend and her new husband!

Brittany's Bridal Shower!

Last Sunday I helped host a shower for my friend Brittany. She asked me to be her MOH for her August wedding, and I was honored! Another bridesmaid and lifelong friend, Kasey and I put together the following shower!

Wedding fun!

I've been going through some pictures on my computer trying to get them more organized, and I always find such wonderful memories. At my age (and thanks to a wonderful group of sorority sisters), it feels like I go to something wedding related every other weekend of the year. Not really the case, but I have been blessed to have wonderful friends and be a part of and/or attend many of their weddings over the years! Here a few pictures from some of them!

 

Cristen, Laura and I traveled to Kentucky to see Savannah and Kevin get married in July 2009--it was a beautiful wedding and we had SO much fun! We were so thankful to be included in the festivities! 

This picture was of our "Aunt Judy" in Kentucky! Eta O girls will appreciate that :) 

 Heather Lewis, Heather Kendall and I stopped in Houston on our way back from a spring break trip in 2010 to see Brooke get married! 

 My sweet, sweet friend, sister, and college roommate Meredith asked me to be her MOH in March 2011. Such a fun time! 

 Sweet DG sister Alicia got married in May 2011. This is all of us attempting to once again sing Dream Girl. ALWAYS entertaining! 

 One of my best friends and college roommates Heather got married September 2011. Love her, loved her wedding, and love our TOMS.
Also loved getting to see Sam and my other BFF and college roomie, Monica :) 

 DG sister Brooke got married in March 2012. Such a fun time and a great chance to reunite with so many dear sisters! 

This picture is obviously not from Emily's wedding, but I couldn't write this post without mentioning her beautiful double wedding in May 2010! I just can't find the digital copies of all the pics I took on her big day. Love her! 

It is so fun to celebrate with so many sisters/friends/college roommates on their big days! These are not all the weddings, but these were just pictures I ran across tonight. I'm looking forward to at least four more weddings this year! :) Happy Friday!
