A weekend in St. Louis

I'm trying to catch back up to everything that's been going on, but I've had a couple of packed weekends!

As I've said before, I had five roommates my freshman year of college. I was so, so lucky with the ones I got randomly placed with that first year. Heather, Monica, and I ended up living together for three years, and we had some of the best times! Since we all graduated, Heather is married and living in Van Buren, Monica is getting her Master's in St. Louis, and I am in Fayetteville, so we don't get to see each other nearly enough. So we planned a trip to visit Monica before she started back to school!

Heather and I made the almost six hour trip and were able to spend most of the weekend in St. Louis! On Saturday we headed to do the Budweiser Brewery tour at Anheuser-Busch. Monica had already been, but it was a new experience for Heather and I!

One of the famous Clydesdales - so pretty!

They were labeling Bud Light Lime while we were there; it's a pretty amazing process!

 Monica and Heather!
 Monica and me!

After the tour, we headed to eat at The Old Spaghetti Factory in downtown St. Louis - so yummy! Then we walked over to visit the Arch!

Found an anchor on our way :)

Heather had to stop to pet the horses of course

And we arrived at the Arch. Heather had never gone up in it, and it had been a long time since Monica and I had been, so we decided to head to the top!

New Busch Stadium -- there was a game that day!

 The Mighty Mississippi
 Tiny, colorful people
 Love them so much!

On Saturday night, we headed to a fun dinner with Monica's parents (they are too much fun!). On Sunday, the three of us had lunch and made an ice cream stop before Heather and I made the trip back home.

I am so, so thankful that these two have been a part of my life for SIX years. I can't even believe that -- we are growing up so fast! Thanks Monica and family for a great weekend! I hope I see you all again very soon!
