Paris Opera House

Today, Mom and I set out to explore the Opera House again since we didn't make it inside the last time we were there due to the impromptu show I mentioned previously. This opera house provides the backdrop of one of our favorites, the Phantom of the Opera. It was so, so pretty inside.

The Grand Staircase

Isn't this so pretty?

Inside the actual auditorium. The chandelier had been lowered for maintenance - it weighs 8 tons!

The balcony -- so much marble everywhere!

Check out all the different colors of marble on the staircase

And we even saw some costumes

I would definitely recommend checking out the Opera House. It's been one of the prettiest, least crowded places we've been in Paris. I'm glad we made it back to see the inside!
